Pan Cottage offers the opportunity for a luxury break in a lovely village on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. With its wood beamed sitting room, kitchen/diner and south facing patio it is perfectly suited to those seeking an ‘away from it all’ break.

In the beamed sitting room two leather recliners allow guests to relax and put their feet up as they watch Freeview tv or a DVD.

There is a well equipped kitchen with separate dining area, four burner gas hob and electric oven, a full size sink unit and plenty of cupboard space. You will find a full range of cooking utensils, pans and cutlery as well as a kettle, toaster and micro-wave.

In the bedroom a king size bed, reading lights and DAB radio/alarm clock add to your luxury stay. All bedding & linen is included in the price and a hair dryer is available.

Pickering is an ancient market town with a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. Visitor attractions include the Norman castle, the parish church with its painted wall murals, a museum and cinema. The famous steam railway starts in the town and runs through countryside made famous in the tv programme ‘Heartbeat’.

For those wishing to explore the local area the moors and coast are only a short drive away. York and Castle Howard are easily reached as are the market towns of Helmsley and Kirkby Moorside.
