With its wood beamed sitting room, kitchen/diner and south facing patio it is perfectly suited to those seeking an ‘away from it all’ break. |
In the beamed sitting room two leather recliners allow guests to relax and put their feet up as they watch Freeview tv or a DVD.
There is a well equipped kitchen with separate dining area, four burner gas hob and electric oven, a full size sink unit and plenty of cupboard space. You will find a full range of cooking utensils, pans and cutlery as well as a kettle, toaster and micro-wave.
In the bedroom a king size bed, reading lights and DAB radio/alarm clock add to your luxury stay. All bedding & linen is included in the price and a hair dryer is available.

Middleton is a pleasant village on the outskirts of Pickering. It has a non-smoking, real ale dining pub; a post office, a garage with a well stocked general store and a village pond. It is an easy walk into Pickering and a regular bus service runs through the village. Pickering is an ancient market town with a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. Visitor attractions include the Norman castle, the parish church with its painted wall murals, a museum and cinema. The famous steam railway starts in the town and runs through countryside made famous in the tv programme ‘Heartbeat’. For those wishing to explore the local area the moors and coast are only a short drive away. York and Castle Howard are easily reached as are the market towns of Helmsley and Kirkby Moorside.

The cottage is centrally heated
and rental includes gas and electric. A welcome pack is provided. Shower or bath? - the choice is yours with a full size bath and overhead shower. Towels, bath robes and toiletries are supplied. |
The cottage has been awarded
three stars by the English Tourist Authority. |
The south facing patio is ideal for the outside dining or that early morning coffee.
A well behaved dog is welcome and there are several walks in the area.
There is private off street parking available to the rear of the cottage and a small garden area is under development.
